It's basically a very overpriced, flimsy ribbon with no adhesive - you have to supply some kind of cement - additional cost and a big mess!

UGlu MTR7565 Industrial Tape Roll, 3/4-Inch-by-65-Foot Review

(More customer reviews)As a test I glued a small saucer and expresso cup together with the UGLU tape and then hung it upside down by the bottom of the saucer, also with UGLU tape, up on my office ceiling. It fell off the next day. The pictures I used the tape for to hold on my wall are continually being pressed back into place because they are starting to come off. I cannot trust this product for anything other than gluing paper together. Very disappointing and a waste of money, I do not recommend it to anyone and my rating is an F+.

(More customer reviews)I have an 88 bmw convertible that I love. The top has been developing rips in it because I park it out in the sun in Hawaii and don't have a way to keep it in the shade. I used the tape to cover the iron-on patches that I used to repair the rips. It now looks beautiful and I can delay replacing the top until we build our garage. Great product.

(More customer reviews)well, it's the strongest type of tape there is. It does what it's supposed to do, sticks stuff to things. Foam tape is usually a last resort for things that just wont stay with anything else. The only downside is that if you ever want to remove it it's a pain. But I suppose I'll just deal with it if and when that time comes. They're little tabs about the size of a .....rectangular penny? Yeah I guess that'll do. Maybe a little smaller than the smallest stamp you can think of? Is that good? oh well, they stick, and that's what counts in the end. Use a bunch of them at a time if you'd like to feel safe about it.

Gorilla Tape 1.88-Inch by 35-Yard Tape Roll Review

(More customer reviews)As the advertisements suggest, this tape will stick to brick and virtually any other surface. Be careful though, because it might just strip the paint upon removal. This was the painful lesson I learned when trying to temporarily hold some video cables to my wall and ceiling. Even when using a hair dryer to soften the adhesive, I was not able to prevent the paint from getting ripped off, no mater how gentle I was.
Despite my lack of success with the hair dryer, the only area where I have seen Gorilla Tape fail is in moderately-high temperature applications. For example, I wanted to use the tape to patch small leaks around the exhaust hose of a new portable air conditioner. The warm air would simply soften the adhesive over time, causing it to fall off.
It would be nice if a version of Gorilla Tape had nylon filaments, similar to strapping tape. While strong, Gorilla Tape does not have the tensile strength provided by such reinforcing fibers. This feature would then allow Gorilla Tape to be employed in a number of other applications where it could serve as a structural element instead of merely a bonding medium. Pros

UGlu MSP101 Silicone Grit Tape Strips Review
