Our front door gets intense western sun here in the Southwest. The wood was getting very ugly until I sanded it lightly, did some polyurethane finish touch-up then used about 3 coats of this product. I also used it on the interior of the door and another outside door. Our builder's sub recommended something called tree or tri- wax which I was never able to find but this product works fine. I should have used it sooner instead of later on our new house and would have had less damage to correct. I believe if I wax the front door once a year or so I won't have another problem. The difference now is remarkable.
