(More customer reviews)we had read reviews about this bed before purchasing it and other people had mentioned that it was difficult to put together. i think the issue is that it is time consuming. this is not a bed frame. it is a platform bed which is taking the place of your box-spring. the entire foundation needs to be built. that being said, the directions were easy to follow, all parts were included and they even provide you with a phone number to call should you run into any difficulty. (only available M-F)my husband put together this piece and the matching headboard on his own and it took him 9 hours, so you may want to plan on having a helper. on the whole we are extremely pleased with our purchase. it is a sturdy, beautiful piece of furniture and fits in perfectly with a simple, modern style.

Our King Platform Storage Beds combine extra large drawers for plenty of storage space with a slat support system that requires only a mattress. Wood slats are positioned lengthwise to distribute body weight evenly, minimize the amount of motion transfer and take the place of a box-spring. Metal braces under the slats provide additional stability. Underneath are 6 large storage drawers (20* depth) that run on smooth running metal drawer glides. Drawers open easily with finger pulls located at the bottom of drawer fronts and knobs have been eliminated to prevent bedclothes from catching. They are large enough to hold anything you need to store: linens, blankets, clothes, socks and even shoes are just a few ideas. Coordinate with the King Headboard and other Prepac bedroom furniture pieces. Overall bed height is 21* if used with an 8* thick mattress. Also Available in Black and Cherry Finish (PP-BBK-8400). Spending $80 to thwart a pesky would be ID Thief from walking by and snagging your mail in less than a second is money well spent by investing in this mailbox. Lets face it, crooks are easy opportunists and always exploit the easiest target. With that said, this mail box does offer a first defense against the "quick pickers" and once they see the locking door inside the box, they will move to the next without hesitation.
Pros: Strong, sturdy mailbox with a locking mechanism that is tough too. Easy to mount right from the box to the post.
Semi-Cons: Not the most secure locking mailbox on the market, but again it does offer first defense security. Scratches easily
Note and observations: This sucker is LARGE as described, Dimensions (in): 23.4 x 12.9 x 12.8! Make sure you measure your current post to ensure it will handle this beast! Also, I'd be more worried about someone stealing the whole mailbox rather than the mail inside, its just that nice of a mailbox.
Recommendations: Buy it if your are somewhat paranoid about having a curbside residential mailbox and concerned about the "Quick Picker" mail thieves.
If you think the government or every thief is out to get you, look into a more secure mailbox. Just keep in mind, even the most secured and most expensive mailboxes can be compromised given enough time - just depends on your situation and surroundings.
Final thoughts: I live in a good/average community with "nosy neighbors" so I am lucky in those respects. With that, I felt I didn't need a Fort Knox, top of the line full security type mailbox... Hopefully.
But, in never having a curbside mailbox before. I felt it was just too easy for someone to walk by and take advantage without having some sort of security in place. I truly felt this was the best option for the money and for my circumstance.

(More customer reviews)Ordered the propane model to put up in a Morton Building workshop. Package arrived quickly with minimal damage to outside cardboard box. Nice unit and fairly easy to lift (I am 6' 190 lbs. average jock) but recommend two people to lift in place on ladder or other device.
Things to consider for installation: Installed two joist between trusses in the attic to hang the unit from (time consuming). Venting horizontal is easier but I perfer vertical. Think this process out. This unit requires a 4" exhaust vent. I went through a metal roof and used a Dektite on 4" double wall exhaust pipe. Make sure you have the appropriate tools, fasteners and sealers before starting this part of the project. Hooking the exhaust vent to the unit should be well planned too. It is not easy and you should have the exhaust vent pieces you plan to use to take some rough measurements prior to fit up. I hung the unit using threaded rod on C channel so I could adjust the unit up or down, side to side, and back to front (I used 19" center to center from side to side, could use 20" too). The brackets in the kit require a small amount of grinding to avoid the strain relief on the blower fan and if you use the top 1/2" knockout on the back of the unit for electrical connections. Electrical connections are easy. The unit has two 1/2" knockouts on back for electrical connections. I used 16-3 cord for power and 18-2 (solid) for the thermostat. I have it on a 15 amp circuit breaker. Use a strain relief for the power cord. The gas pipe connection is 1/2" female. I already had propane gas pipe in the shop. I used various elbows, cross, and 1/2" pipe lengths for initial plumbing. A union was used for the final connection. Exhaust vent was connected first and then the gas pipe was fitted. It is easier to make adjustments to the gas pipe than the exhaust venting. Once all connections were checked, the unit powered up, the appropriate green light flashed on the circuit board and the unit fired right up.
The only problem with the heater involved the two top burners were allowing flame to reach and burn the section between the heat tubes. A call to technical support (30 to 45 minute wait on a Monday) stated to pinch the two pieces of metal that form the burner closer together in the area involved which solved the problem. This would not please the average joe. It involved removing 6 screws that hold the panel that the circuit board is on and 4 screws that hold the two burners in place. It took me two time to get it right. I didn't mind as I like to tinker and I have an above average selection of tools.
The unit is quiet for a forced air heater. It works great and heats up my 1800 square foot workshop quickly. It took two weeks of various evenings and weekends at a leisurely pace to get it installed. This review is being written two weeks after installation so no comments on longevity. Good luck!

(More customer reviews)Decided to purchase this bed for our daughter. The bed came as 3 double boxed packages from Texas, and we received them within a week from the time I ordered. It took me around 4 hours to remove the bed from boxes and assembled it completely. Two of the drawer front panels were damaged during shipping and Bunk Bed King was able to mail me replacement ones within a week. Very nice customer service. As for the bed, it's nice quality bed made from Brazil. However the bed is around 30" in high after I put a 8" mattress on top. So we use Dex Products Safe Sleeper Bed Rail Ultra to prevent our daughter falling 30" off the bed and onto the floor.
